Who Are Our Charity Partners?
At Projects Ship Street, we proudly support Switchboard as our charity partner. Switchboard has been a vital lifeline for the LGBTQIA+ community since 1974, offering confidential support and information to anyone who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer, as well as to anyone concerned about LGBTQIA+ issues.
Switchboard provides a listening ear, practical support, and information on a wide range of topics, including coming out, gender identity, sexual health, and community events. Their dedicated volunteers, many of whom have lived experience of LGBTQIA+ issues, offer non-judgmental and empathetic support through phone, email, and instant messaging services.
By partnering with Switchboard, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can feel supported and empowered. Together, we strive to promote equality, diversity, and understanding within our community and beyond.

At Projects Nile House, we're proud to partner with YMCA DownsLink Group, an organisation making a transformative impact on the lives of young people across Sussex and Surrey. YMCA DownsLink Group focuses on providing essential support to young people facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and barriers to education and employment.
Through their innovative programs and safe spaces, YMCA DownsLink Group empowers young people to rebuild their lives, develop resilience, and reach their full potential. From supported housing and counseling services to youth advice centers and employment initiatives, their work ensures that vulnerable young people are not just supported but given the tools to thrive.
